Cant access files unless OXWALL created them

If I upload a file, or set a directory, unless OXWall created it, I cant access it by putting in a URL. Say I add "sitemap.xml" to my root directory via FTP, if I try to submit it to google, it gets a 404. When i try to manually navigate there, i get the same 404. Work around? More

"FTP Invalid attributes! Provided the user does not have permissions to overwrite files."  I have the same problem, talking to my hosting company they say its an Oxwall problem. My FTP details are correct and they tested it for me and I and they can FTP my site just fine. They only support secure FTP on post 22 Can you support this? More
