Can't update "Links" plugin | Forum

Hi guys, I'm trying to update my Links plug from my admin but I get this error message: admin+plugin_update_request_error Any ideas why?

Check that url_fopen is ON in your php.ini settings.

I know I should know this but where's the php.ini located?

You will have to check your php.ini in your cpanel

No that wasn't it, I just tried again and it worked for some reason. Thanks anyways guys :)

FYI, I just noticed this same problem with admin+plugin_update_request_error showing up on the site and checked with my host url_fopen and it is off. I have requested it be turned back on.

Just to show that searching the forums for old fixes can help!

***UPDATE***
Host provider turned on url_fopen and the site is perfect again!
