amazon s3 not working in 1.6 [Bug confirmed. To be fixed] | Forum

I am having issues with storing files attachments to newsfeed and and comments since 1.6. I did some trouble shooting and found that attachments work on mobile but not on desktop. The attachments that work on mobile lead me back to my local ow_userfiles folder where it turns out all those attachments are being sent. Please help fix this is urgent as a lot of users use this feature on my site.

Is there a fix for this yet?
having the same issue .. works fine for avatars and photos etc .. but not for newsfeed and comments

no they apparently are gonna make our sites not work properly until they release the next update

Guys, all you need to do is to update the amazon library. Go to this page: https://github.com/tpyo/amazon-s3-php-class , download the S3.php file and upload it to /ow_libraries/amazonS3 directory by replacing the existing one. This should solve the problem.

the problem is not solved the issue isnt everywhere. My photos plugin works fine and so on it seems to be attachments that do not work

Is this bug already fixed?
It will be very strange, if you don´t even released after almost half a year a patch.
