I have deleted the facebook connect and another one but still getting the same error...

Gee, can you also make sure that APP ID and APP secret matches with the settings on the oxwall website, please?

I got the same 500 internal server error message while trying to upgrade. My web hosting company managed to restore the site from backup and it has been a successful restore because I could see the homepage briefly. But now when you try going to my site (http://www.verdurez.com), it keeps defaulting to http://www.verdurez.com/...intenance/?back_uri=.

My web hosting company told me "It would appear there is a global maintenance flag that you might have to disable from the configuration file of oxwall, as for which file that would be contained in, I don't know it. You might try asking oxwall support".

Can somebody please help? Which file do I need to disable to get my website back up? I am really not interested in the upgrade, just want my site back.

When I go to http://www.verdurez.com/sign-in, it takes me to http://www.verdurez.com/.../?back_uri=dashboard

Is there some way I can go into my server control panel and disable this?

Thank you Chris. I understand what you are saying but when I go to:

http://www.verdurez.com/admin/pages/maintenance

OR

http://www.verdurez.com/sign-in

the page defaults back to http://www.verdurez.com/...Fpages%2Fmaintenance as can be seen in the attached.

I need guidance as to how to get PAST this default page so that I can sign in as admin and disable what needs disabling.

Ross, Cris solved this last night but I am again having same problem after I trued to upgrade the newsfeed plugin. The site keeps defaulting is no longer accessible and keeps defaulting to http://www.verdurez.com/..._uri=admin%2Fplugins
