I am new to Oxwall and I am trying to install Oxwall to my website.

I am using free hosting (Neq3hosting.com).

I manually uploaded all files into my website.

When I finish the last step in the Install Panel,

The website loaded for super long and then crashed.

When I refreshed, a 500.phtml appeared.

I tried to search in the forum for solution,

http://www.oxwall.org/forum/topic/16648

but I still cannot install Oxwall.

Please help me, thanks!

Which hosting provider do you use, Morv?

Exact same problem here. It was the most frustrating hour or two I've spent now trying to install Oxwall that I'm about to go elsewhere. I have GoDaddy as my host, and I set my database up, and got all the way to the end and it times out.

If I start over it wont proceed because of the existing installation. So I need to delete the database and try again. Each time I get the same problem.

First time I tried all additional plugins, second time, none.

Primus, I believe you have some kind of a shared hosting. In case of Leon, he has a free hosting and during this last step his website everytime went offlien. The last step of the installation - plugin installation- is the hardest one. System tries to unpack all chosen plugin archives and install them. Imagine if you tried to upload all those plugins via admin panel at once.

There are always some kind of timeout issues related to this step. Can you please, check your error logs? copy them here, so we could assist you.

Don't know what error logs you want... but my problem is exactly the same as the OP. Same errors.
