Site thinks it's already updated, but isn't. | Forum

Tried updating the core. Was told I was already using the current version, which I'm not.
The green "update" box is still on the admin page - every attempt to update leads to it telling me the site is already current.
What gives?

Did you use manual or automatic update? If you have such a problem you probably used automatic update and entered invalid FTP details, I mean you installed the soft using one FTP user and tried to update using another one. Please provide more details.
