I INSTALLED PRIVACY, it is hiding friends but not hiding date of birth, what is the problem?

I mean when i go to Privacy and change View my friends to 'Only me', it works, just i can see my friends, but when i try to hide my birthday i go to View my birthday and change it to 'Only me' is dosn't work, still everyone is seeing it. i want it should me hide.
