i can't upload youtube videos at Oxwall Software Forum

Please go here: www.yoursite.com/admin/settings/user-input and make sure the youtube.com is among the Allowed resources list in the Rich media section

By the way, what do you mean by uploading? Do you use embed code or what? How do you upload videos?

I am also having the same problem as this. Every time I try to embed a video it says error. Checked user input and youtube is there.

Ryan, if you get red popup "Error" please use this tutorial: https://docs.oxwall.org/faq:parse-error-troubleshooting to find the actual error, copy it here so we could assist you.

you can't use the "embed code" no more because youtube does not give that out anymore...this plugin will have to be change to accept the url like this from youtube:

An Example: you can only get the Video URL from youtube now. https://youtu.be/QcIy9NiNbmo

I hope it is fixed soon, i don't think anybody can use this plugin or the one that opens in the newsfeed anymore. This is what i have discovered as i can not add any more video's to my site or any members either.

Impossible adding a video like this in the demo nor in my site https://youtu.be/bP1-ykfKhmA (I have included youtu.be in the allowed media).

Any news about this problem?

Oxwall is great, but I'ts not posible working with a social network that doesn't allow YouTube videos.

There's no such problem, we just added this video url to the newsfeed and the video parsed properly.
Please pm me your admin website access details, I'll take a look at the issue.

Thanks for your reply. I'm affraid we're doing different things to upload the video https://youtu.be/bP1-ykfKhmA

I'm trying to upload it to the Video section. I put the URL https://youtu.be/bP1-ykfKhmA in the embbed input and the system swhos the error 'video resource not allowed'. I know that with the embbed code of google (<iframe>.....) works propperly, but I need to upload it only with the URL (for instance like is included in Facebook).

You can Access as admin to our website www.anideato.com with admin/tmp123

its very strange cause the wall can manage youtube videos but the news feed cant, also noticed in the news feed setting there is no video showin in any select box
