On our responsive theme, we hide the site search box for mobile, as it seems to break the console, at that size.
I wonder if you will consider making a page for search, so that users can stilla access the search on mobile, and also, on other devices, if they wish.
Secondly, I wonder if you will consider supporting the articles/news plugin , within the search?

I would definitely purchase this plugin with the addition of searching the Articles plugin that Matt posted above.

Mobile friendly search will be done in next version.
For other plugins, unless I have a plugin with me, I can't add support for other developers plugin as there are licences.
