Every time I sign into Geek.Zone on my phone, it ends my session on my laptop. How can our users stay signed in on multiple devices?

Thanks!

You can't stay logged in on multiple devices, this is considered as a custom code modification.

We use a token system, for example, if user is on the desktop and he logs in at the same time via mobile, the token is being overwritten and the desktop logs user out.

You will need to do the modification on your own if you're good at programming or hire a programmer to do that for you: http://www.oxwall.org/market/specialists

Also you can make a suggestion on uservoice: http://oxwall.uservoice.com/forums/13756-ideas-for-oxwall if it gets enough voices we'll consider implementing it.

Besides, you can make a post in the custom code modification probably some community member will assist you there.

This problem is very annoying and should be fixed. This is the number 1 problem people complain on my website. By the way this is not the only post reporting it (at least https://developers.oxwall.com/forum/topic/21514), and I'm sure a lot of oxwall users are upset without complaining here, because it is a real pain to lookup for this problem.

I don't see the "idea" proposed in the uservoice page, so I'll put it there. I hope that even if it wouldn't get so much voices, it will be implemented, because to me it seems like a bugfix rather than an "idea". Here it is:

P.S: I'm still loving my private Oxwall website very much :-)

I agree, Jean! I am disappointed that the official stance from Oxwall is that "it's not a bug, it's a feature". As with many of my suggestions, I do not think that it should be an "idea" that needs to be suggested, it should be an innate and fundamental feature of the Oxwall core.
