Xolela,

Please enable debug mode to see the actual error, check your error logs file and provide us with the errors you get there to the time related to your site going blank, so we could assist you with the issue. Thanks.

You may want to consider this plugin by Aron: https://developers.oxwall.com/store/item/874

Otherwise you will need to develop a plugin that has such a functional or modify the default Oxwall plugin.

You will need to do that on your own if you have programming skills or hire a programmer. You can do that here: https://developers.oxwall.com/market/specialists

Hi, I have installed the advertisement plugin and it installs correctly but when I go to add a banner, it goes to a "Page not found" on the url: /advertisement-master/admin/add/ because the admin folder itself is missing but is not in the download.  Am I missing something?

Can someone help?

Also, when I click to place the ad, the popup appears to allow me to select which ad (I've manually added one via the database by the way) then it just gives an error and nothing is saved.  Help!

I don't have an ad blocker on my browser.  Anything else it could be?

What error does it give?

It just says ERROR in a red ajax overlay banner

It only works for me through Google Chrome (with, of course, no ad blockers turned on;if you turn them off then reload the page before you try). Mozilla Firefox never works for me with the plugin for whatever reason. Perhaps you can try another browser and see if it resolves the issue for you too.

That error box is normally caused by an ad blocker, either one pre-installed in your browser or one installed via an extention or one installed via toolbar that some a/v programs insist you install (always removes those, they're malware)

It works for me in chrome even with an ad blocker installed, but I have my site whitelisted in the ad blocker.

Looking on Chrome, this is what is installed and it doesn't look like there are any Ad Blockers.  I even disabled Avast in case that was it but it made no difference:

Avast Online Security
Avast Online Security (BETA)
Broken Link Checker
Check My Links
Cisco WebEx Extension
Google Docs Offline
Link Redirect Trace
MozBar
SEO & Website Analysis
SEOquake
Tag Assistant (by Google)

Chrome Apps -
BrowserStack Local
Docs
Sheets
Slides

Chrome has a built in ad blocker.

Navigate to the site you want to show all ads on, then click the area just to the left of the URL—it’ll either show an “i” bubble or the word “Secure.”

In this new dropdown, click on Site Settings.

Find the “Ads” entry, then choose Allow in the menu.

From now on, all ads will be allowed on that specific site
