With the addition of file uploads (zips) to my store plugin now i was concerned about being able to offer some kind of information in the way of how to protect the server.  Letting users upload zip files is very dangerious unless you are able to scan them effively on the fly.  

If you have root access to the server then its no problem you can set up your own process.  But for those of you that dont have root access this is big news for you, it means that now you too can scan files  on your account as well.
