Hi there, I have searched around for hours and can't find a solution to this.
I am in the beginning stages of creating my site with Oxwall and I don't want to waste my time and continue on if there's not an option for this issue.
I want my members to be able to search for each other by state, and possibly later by country later, so I'm looking for the add-on (I guess) that allows you to ask this on their profile. I tried to add it myself and you can only add 31 values to a question.
I also want them to be able to search for members by state.
My site is not dating but a community with similar life ideology/goals, but I cannot believe a CMS would be created especially for social sites like dating and not include member location as a basic option. I really like the ease of using this software, but not having this as an option is a no-go.

Joe, with the current set up you will not be able to add a field with the list of predefined countries exceeding 31 values.
You can use "text" type of field. User will enter his country name. And then other users will be able to search by the country they type in.

How can I add county and state and city text fields for searching? Please provide some steps of option on how to do it? Also I dont see Account Type drop down..where can I add this?

However you won't be able to add more than 31 values as this is a limitation of a php, you will need to get a plugin for that or create your own.
As to the account type drop down - as soon as you have more than one account type and assign certain questions to the that account type, the drop down will appear.
