As far as I know, the Kestrel can't automatically adjust to your new environment based on a different location's elevation. It can store your presets and adjust based on new environmental data, but for precise shooting, it's best to measure your MV at the new location.As for ELR shooting, it's a whole other ball game, and the Kestrel's small specifics might not make a huge difference at typical hunting ranges. It's always good to have the bells and whistles, but for most non-ELR distances, they might not be practically noticeable.Regarding the
