Supports User Credits, Supports FFMPEG 2.0+ and non FFMPEG uploads, also supports HTML5 thumbnails and HTML5 playback. Permissions control access. User Notifications on approve and delete video. Admin approval process. Wide range of FFMPEG settings. Allows you to save video in multiple file formats. Also supports those that do not have FFMPEG such as those on some shared servers. You can still upload files and still have a wonderful video upload process. You must have php5.5+ and ffmpeg 2.0+ to run this plugin.
This plugin now requires the free privacy plugin and the free newsfeed plugin from the store if you do not have them already installed. However if you do not use the newsfeed plugin at all on your website then there is a bypass option in the config section. NOTICE: You must be on a VPS or Dedicated server with root access with ffmpeg installed properly in order to use the ffmpeg option. If you do not then it will default to php upload process with default standard thumb for everyone, and there will be no file conversion. You can still upload mp4. We have had shared hosts advise some of our customers that ffmpeg is installed and yet the hosts have never tested the access to ffmpeg via public_html. So if you are on a shared server be sure that ffmpeg works from public_html if you want to use the ffmpeg option. Also this is not guarenteed to work on AWS servers due to AWS non standard configurations. Also this has only been tested via Apache Web Server. If you are running NGINX or any other web server then you purchase at your own risk (no refunds) as it has not been tested in any other environment. I do have some customers running ubuntu, some have issues, and some dont. Also using CGI of any kind including lightspeed, fastcgi and others to serve up the php files WILL break ffmpeg, you must use apache to handle the php files for ffmpeg to work. This does NOT support any bridges of FFMPEG such as php-ffmpeg because those commands are completely different from normal FFMPEG commands. You must have exec() and shell_exec() functions enabled on your server and be able to access FFMPEG via PHP script. We no longer support IE as of the latest version, ie has decided to be difficult and stop supporting certain functions, so we ask that you use Firefox or Chrome. Videojs has also stopped supporting many ie versions so we are not alone. Also some mobile phones such as the iphone and others are NOT supported do to their variations in file format. However quicktime is supported and many phones support quicktime. Also there are phone apps that will convert the video to mp4 for upload. Overall this plugin is designed to work uploading from a desktop or laptop computer. It allows members to upload videos to their websites. It does have mobile support and you can uplaod from a mobile phone. This Plugin requires the free privacy plugin as well. It also includes: - privacy support - mobile support - seo support - progress bar and countdown upload views - supports newsfeed - Auto thumbnail creation - Skadate and Oxwall compatible ( pre-older versions ) - Category creations - Fast encoding ( almost instant ) than many other tube scripts - Works even without FFMPEG without any server requirements ( but no thumbnail support ) - You have the full control who can view, download , upload and so on according to the user roles. - You can resize the visual display of the videos size on the main portal screen - pending image -video views -most viewed All the above and much more... Needful Plugin & Best Support
This plugin is needful for every community website. We had some problems starting it but this is normal for a huge, complicate and multifunctional plugin. Dave gave the best support I've ever seen here. If every developer would support as Dave oxwall became the number one brand for social community website solutions. This plugin uploads and converts your videos. It is so important having this function. Thanks Dave, this is a great job. Awesome.
