The plugin allows website admin and/or moderators to communicate with other site members on behalf of ‘fake’ users. The plugin adds a custom option in the User List section of the Admin Area to mark users as ‘fake,’ which can be later used by the admin and/or moderators for the communication with other site members. When the plugin is activated, the appearance of the site admin/moderators online will trigger all fake profiles to go online as well. Batch registrationvia CSV upload is possible. Such fake users will not have real emails and passwords but will include photos and (embed) videos, if those are made available by admins. The first photo in the upload will be automatically set as a profile avatar. If the website has moderators, they can register fake profiles through a link hidden to regular site members. Moderators have access to fake users and their actions as set by the site admin. Moderators have the option to log in and act as any of the fake users on the list. Switching back to the original profile is available through the ‘Login as Moderator’ (‘Login as Admin’) button. The plugin’s ‘New Messages’ dynamic console counter is listing all new messages sent to all fake users (latest at the top). Selecting any message from this list will automatically login the admin/moderator as a chosen fake user. Read more |
