Contenu de la notice Ce qu'est Arimidex et à quoi il sert Ce que vous devez savoir avant de commencer à prendre Arimidex Comment prendre Arimidex Effets secondaires possibles Stockage d'Arimidex Contenu de l'emballage et informations complémentaires Ce qu'est Arimidex et à quoi il sert Arimidex contient une substance appelée anastrozole et appartient à un groupe de médicaments appelés "inhibiteurs de l'aromatase". L'Arimidex est utilisé pour traiter le cancer du sein chez les femmes en période de ménopause. Arimidex agit en réduisant la quantité d'hormones appelées œstrogènes produites par votre organisme, en bloquant une substance corporelle naturelle (une enzyme) appelée "aromatase". 2. Ce que vous devez savoir avant de commencer à prendre Arimidex Ne prenez pas d'Arimidex si vous êtes allergique à l'anastrozole ou à l'un des autres composants de ce médicament (mentionnés dans la rubrique 6). si vous êtes enceinte ou si vous allaitez (voir rubrique "Grossesse et allaitement"). Avertissements et précautions Consultez votre médecin, votre pharmacien ou votre infirmière avant de commencer à prendre Arimidex. si vous avez encore des règles et que vous n'êtes pas en ménopause. si vous prenez un médicament contenant du tamoxifène ou des médicaments contenant des œstrogènes (voir la section intitulée "Prise d'Arimidex avec d'autres médicaments"). si vous avez déjà souffert d'une affection qui affecte la solidité de vos os (ostéoporose). si vous avez des problèmes avec votre foie ou vos reins. Si vous êtes admise à l'hôpital, dites au personnel soignant que vous prenez Arimidex. Prise d'Arimidex avec d'autres médicaments Informez votre médecin ou votre pharmacien si vous prenez, avez récemment pris ou pourriez prendre tout autre médicament. Cela inclut les médicaments que vous achetez sans ordonnance et les médicaments à base de plantes. En effet, Arimidex peut affecter l'activité d'autres médicaments, et certains médicaments peuvent avoir un effet sur Arimidex. Ne prenez pas Arimidex si vous êtes déjà traité avec l'un des médicaments suivants : Certains médicaments utilisés pour traiter le cancer du sein (modulateurs sélectifs des récepteurs d'estrogènes), par exemple les médicaments contenant du tamoxifène. En effet, ces médicaments peuvent empêcher Arimidex de fonctionner correctement. Les médicaments contenant des œstrogènes, tels que les traitements hormonaux substitutifs (THS). Si vous êtes dans l'une de ces situations, demandez conseil à votre médecin ou à votre pharmacien. Informez votre médecin ou votre pharmacien si vous prenez les médicaments suivants : Un médicament connu sous le nom d'"analogue de la LH-RH". Il s'agit de la gonadoréline, de la buséréline, de la goséréline, de la leuproréline et de la triptoréline. Ces médicaments sont utilisés pour traiter le cancer du sein, certaines affections féminines (gynécologiques) et l'infertilité. Grossesse et allaitement Ne prenez pas Arimidex si vous êtes enceinte ou si vous allaitez. Arrêtez de prendre Arimidex si vous êtes enceinte et consultez votre médecin. Consultez votre médecin ou votre pharmacien avant d'utiliser tout médicament. Conduire et utiliser des machines Il est peu probable qu'Arimidex affecte votre capacité à conduire ou à utiliser des outils ou des machines. Cependant, il arrive que certains patients se sentent faibles ou somnolents pendant le traitement par Arimidex. Si cela vous arrive, demandez conseil à votre médecin ou à votre pharmacien. Arimidex contient du lactose Arimidex contient du lactose, qui est un type de sucre. Si votre médecin vous a dit que vous avez une intolérance à certains sucres, parlez-en à votre médecin avant de prendre ce médicament.
