Corsa-E wheel repair | Forum

I’ve only had my Corsa-E for a week and I was driving home tonight when all of a sudden I saw a massive flood under a railway bridge on an unlit road, I went through it at about 40mph and I must’ve bounced off the side of the bridge from the tyres! Luckily there is no damage to the bodywork of the car and the car is fine, except the two wheels on the left hand side are scraped really badly. I’ve got the 17 inch bi colour wheels which are like a plastic and diamond cut material. Does anyone know how much it’ll cost to replace both wheels? I’m in shock and upset but I didn’t see the water coming

New they will cost a packer. After market wheels can be had which might give you better choice to have something nicer.

Man, what a wild ride! I can only imagine the shock and upset you felt seeing those scraped wheels after such an unexpected encounter with that flood. It's a relief that the car and you came out unscathed, though.

The last thing you need right now is the added stress of figuring out the cost of replacing both wheels. I get it. Those 17-inch bi-color wheels are pretty unique, and it's natural to want them to look pristine again.

Before you jump into the deep end with pricey replacements, have you considered alloy wheel refurbishment? I've been in a similar situation before, and let me tell you, Elite AWRS (https://www.eliteawrs.co.uk/) saved the day. They worked wonders, refurbishing my wheels, and it didn't break the bank like I feared.
