I have an Omtech 80w and I was wondering If I could cut Coroplast sheets on my laser?
Interested in making yard signs for graduation.

Check what your plastics made out of. Polyvinyl chloride under laser turns into chlorine gas. Not real good for you or the machine.

From what I've gathered, cutting Coroplast on a laser can be a bit tricky with settings—you want to get that balance just right to avoid melting or uneven cuts. I've seen some mixed feedback online about its feasibility, so it might take a bit of experimenting.

If you're still on the hunt for the best approach, I'd suggest reaching out to a ptfe sheet supplier. They're not just about sheets—they often have expertise in materials that work well with lasers and could point you toward something that fits your setup perfectly.
