Migration of website.

After several weeks of testing it was decided that we would migrate our test website Oxwall into its live environment. With most of the content (groups, events & photos) being created in advance on the test site.

I have since noticed that this may not have been the best idea.

A few core applications are storing in the database absolute references to the photos assocaited to the group.

This most obvious in the Newsfeed widget, when presented in the newsfeed on home all links was displaying (oxwalltest.mydoman.com) rather than where the site was actually located (oxwall.mydomain.com).

This now means, that if there is an error or enhancement to be made that I cant easily import data from one domain to the other.

Any suggestions?

I don't see any problem with the server migration.

Have you changed the site url in the ow_includes/config.php file?
