I saw some other posts on the forum about bars serving alcohol drinks with unusually high levels of alcohol and people being surprisingly intoxicated. Isn't there some kind of regulation on that or something that would stop that from happening? Or can they really just put whatever they want in the drinks? I kind of had a similar incident, and I'm curious about what really is the law. For example, in Florida.

Yeah, bars are supposed to follow regulations on how much alcohol they put in drinks, but sometimes they don’t.

I had a similar experience where I ended up way more intoxicated than expected. I went to a bar and got a cocktail that seemed a bit stronger than usual. It got me wondering about regulations too. From what I’ve learned, bars do have some regulations about alcohol content, but they can sometimes push the limits. I’ve also had better luck at places like qka wine, where the staff are really upfront about what’s in their bottles. If you’re curious, it might be worth asking about the drink’s strength before you order.
