No picture is shown at my site findonliers.com/archive.
The hosters find no database errors, and suspect it's coding issue.
we even did a restore, but still the pics are missing.
Any help?

Will it work if I create a new installation and use the exsisting database?

try this part it seems to be a normal issue..

Problem in .htaccess file. I solved this problem so ow_userfiles/.htaccess rewrite code in file. Instead Options All -Indexes, write it Options -Indexes

Basically open up the htaccess file in ow_userfiles  and you will see Optioins All -Indexes, just change it to Options -Indexes   then see if the images appear.

the best thing to do is just comment out the old code

you do this like this  just put a # before it so that it does not execute, then put the new code without the #..

#Optioins All -Indexes

like so;

Options -Indexes

check your permissions on the ow_userfiles dir an sub dir.   Are you getting any errors at all in your cPanel error log..

dave: My hosters themselves made the change as per your suggestion.

Oh OK,  well it is going to be really hard to diagnose since you dont have any access and they have to do everything.   I wish you luck tester, maybe someone here knows.   FYI this is the downside to free or cheap hosting, or managed hosting that someone else does everything.  Its time to learn how to do this yourself maybe, its part of being a site owner is to get your hands dirty you know.

  i feel bad for you..  good luck :)

A miracle. The pictures came back :)

This is after a second restore (after the 1st one failed).
