Hey! I’ve heard a lot about pottery wheel classes in Chicago and want to give it a try. I’m a total beginner, though. Any advice on where to start?

Hi there! If you're new to pottery, I highly recommend starting with the wheel throwing classes at Pottery Studio 1 in Chicago https://pottery-chicago.com/wheel-throwing-chicago. Their classes are beginner-friendly, and 90% of their attendees have no prior experience. You’ll learn the basics of creating your own pieces like mugs or bowls using a potter’s wheel, and they provide all the tools you’ll need. You can even take home your creations after firing! They offer both regular classes ($90) and sessions with painting and glazing ($120). It’s a fun, hands-on way to get into pottery! You can sign up directly on their website.
