After I purchased the backup plugin I did the setup and provided the backup directory and FTP information but It still has not run a backup that I can see. I looked on the host server and the directory is not there. Same with my remote server that I setup on the FTP configuration. Must I first manually create the backup directory or is it created when the backup runs?
A little help would be appreciated.

You need to contact the plugin developer directly or post the issue in the support area of the plugin.
