Switching from Wordpress to Oxwall installed in subdir/subdomain | Forum

I have a domain with wordpress installed in the root directory, and oxwall installed at a subdomain and subdirectory. I would like to make oxwall the new domain root site (i.e. mysite.com instead of subdir.mysite.com). Can I leave the oxwall and wordpress files where they are and just change the configuration somehow? I know about changing the domain from subdir.mydomain.com to mydomain.com in config.php, but how will the server know to use the oxwall files instead of wordpress? Any advice is appreciated.

Sean,

you can contact your hosting provider and ask them to point your DNS to the oxwall site folder, however you'll need to transfer the wordpress folder anyway into subdirectory
