There are mainly full drill and partial drill kits. Full drill means the entire canvas is covered with diamonds, creating a complete sparkling effect. Partial drill kits only have certain areas covered, which makes the artwork stand out more with diamond art kits. You’ll also find square vs. round drills—square diamonds fit tightly for a seamless look, while round diamonds are easier to place. Some kits even come in custom designs where you can turn your own photo into a painting!

I prefer full drill with square diamonds because it looks more detailed. But for quick projects, round drill kits are fun and easier! If you’re just starting, Art DIY Studio has beginner-friendly kits that are perfect to get the hang of it.
