Is anyone getting good results with hostforweb shared hosting? | Forum

I am getting very poor support at hostforweb and am wondering why it would be recommended for Oxwall. I have not touched the email setup for Oxwall, YET everytime I try a mass email it sends all the users about 20 copies. For long periods my site would be very laggy even with me being the only one logged on.

I am trying to find a competent shared hosting company and am astounded at the dishonesty and incompetence that I am encountering. I have wasted days now getting set up finding out that they either don't have a clue or whatever and then having to cancel. It is amazing!!

I use Hostforweb and the customer service has been excellent ! In fact I own 5 different domains and have transferred them all there.
They are really great folks. I dont know who your dealing with but you should try calling them directly and explain the problem to them , Im sorry but I dont agree with your view on the bad service , they really have treated me VERY well and Im glad Im with them.

Oh I like the people enough. Are you saying that you have 5 Oxwall sites on one shared hosting plan there?

I havd been using host for web for a fair while now and they have been pretty good to me. I have a shared buisnes hosting packing and the support has been quick and friendly.
I would recommend them based on my own experiences with them.

No not 5 Oxwalls , Im saying I have 5 DIFFERENT domains , one includes Oxwall with them.

Prob get shot for my comment here but oh well.
You just have to do a google search on this company to see their track record for hosting. i almost went with them but at the last minute went with Arvixe hosting and i'm so glad i did. Arvixe hosting is epic. One of the best affordable solutions for Oxwall hosting.
I've been working online for quite a few years and i've been with many many hosting companies, Arvixe is by far the fastest and best support i've seen... always search google and do your research before laying any money down.
Never take the word of a few people, tho if the majority of people write bad reviews about a hosting company it's more often than not a indicator that their service is subpar.
