Can you use wildcards in determining restricted usernames? | Forum

For example, say I do not want the word "butt" in any username. Could restricted it by using some sort of wildcard prefix and suffix, such as *butt*

Right now I am using the Restricted Usernames tab under Users section of the Admin Menu. I would prefer to continue to handle restricted usernames in that area but am willing to use a different method if necessary.

Unfortunately it is not possible yet. You may consider using Badwords plugin from the store: www.oxwall.org/store
