I have two social networks almost equal each from a different client, with the latest versions of everything. In one forum does not come out as "Available widgets" within groups and the other if. I tried to install and uninstall plugins on the net that does not come out until I was tired, even install different and ordered me not give any error, but still no go. Can you help?

Patricia can you confirm that FORUM is enabled for "Groups" plugin?
Can be checked in admin panel>>installed plugins>>groups>>settings>>additional features.
