When 1.6 come, yes the mobile version, if this plugin could just the location based on GPS WIFI or Google Places API , it will be a very good LBS plugin, they said they will release a plugin <member nearby>, i think it's also based on IP......pity!!

it's a good idea to show the distance between the members, but it's a pity it's based on IP, u know just IP can't show an exactly location of members.

with the use of web servers and browsers ?
I would like to know.
FYI, the addressing of machines in the internet and any network is via ip address. It's not perfect but better than nothing.
Care to come up with a better idea?

I checked Google Places API.
