I went to cgange the Page background image, and it worked the first time, but not what I was looking for, went to change it...click save and same image as before.
I reset to factory image...and tried to upload again, and its same image.
Cleared cache and cookies...same
can I upload it to server? If so i just need the file location please.

You need to do the changes in the base.css file in these lines:
[2] Base Elements __base ========================================================*/body, body.ow { background-image: url('images/bg.gif'); /** OW_Control type:image, key:backgroundImage, section: 1. General Settings, label: Page background image **/ background-repeat: repeat; background-color: #191c20;
and to this image - bg.gif which is in the ow_themes/darklets/images
