It was due the broken tag, we have moved to new formats and this is the reason. In case you run into this problem again. Just copy the Event description to a Notepad, it will remove all formatting then paste it back to the description and save your event again.

I did do a search on public_html/ow_plugins/event/classes/event_handler.php before posting and it gave me 138 pages, who's searching through 138 ? lol..

So on w/the issue, I done a test Event posting,, from a Notepad then pasted in,, same issue.

Krunch, The chances of getting a search result from a request like that is NIL, or next to nil. That is not how you do a search on any search engine including Google.

Most search engines in sites like Oxwall are quite good but also rather basic. If an engine can't find the exact phrase, it will probably search for key words, thus your 138 pages of possibly meaningless results. You actually searched for six (6) different words or more because the exact phrase probably didn't exist.

A search for event_handler will have netted a far better result. Using that term or keyword, you would have received two (2) pages of results. It would then take you a minute to scan through the results for instances where event_handler was used in conjunction with the word event.

Your second mistake was using public_html in your search. You have installed Oxwall in your server root directory. Most people install it in a sub-directory, or their root may be called something completely different like home, htdocs, or anything.

Try to keep your search requests simple and avoid using multiple words if possible. The more words you use, the worse your chances of success are likely to be.

Much thanks for he advice, the 2 pages of results yielded nothing pertaining to the fix for my errors, and where the script is installed happens to be compliments of softaculous.

Krunch you may need to reconsider using the black text on a grey background. I have two monitors, both LG, but one is quite new and one a few years old. The text is readable on the older monitor but totally unreadable on the new one. White text may be better.

Also, because this Oxwall forum is used by all kinds of people including men, women and possibly kids, It would be most wise to let people know that your site contains Graphic Adult Content.

Yes, I see you just visited the Homepage 17 min, 5 sec ago, I have a new laptop that I'm, using, 2 months new, not only is it readable to me but have had no members complain of Not being able to read any part of my site.

There is a strong chance by visiting any of the Oxwall powered sites that it may contain adult material, if users of this forum haven't realized this soon then they certainly will learn of it later lol..
