Yes, this bug was already reported. Advanced photo uploader don't work when software was installed in subfolder. It will be fixed soon :)

Lisa, so you cannot upload photos to your website using Advanced Uploader, right? What browser do you use? Did you try doing this in several browsers?

That's correct.
Tried in both Chrome and IE on several different machines. Advanced uploader just hangs at exactly the same place as the OP shows in his photo.

Okay, to follow up - I've discovered that the advanced photo uploader is working fine on Internet Explorer, but is still hanging on Google Chrome. What could the difference be??

So you said you have managed to fix the issue, do you still have it on your site?

It appeared to be fixed when I initially tested it (on IE). But it is still not functioning properly on Google Chrome.

So you removed all the custom widgets and still having problems with photo upload?
