Most members see user name as the name that will be displayed on their profile. Real name is for site to record but not show. It seems oxwall have this backwards is this correct?

username is the end part of the url yoursite.com/user/(username) and the real name is the name displayed on the users profile page and besides any posts on blogs, forums or newsfeed etc

I understand that but in most dating sites etc. members prefer not to have their real name shown so they have a user name displayed on all posts and as their username.

you could set the real name as hidden and add another question as Nickname or something like that
