Hi guys, I need to move my social network site to a sub-domain. I need to know how to backup the original database and then restore int in the new installation, in the sub-domain. Can you help me?

I'm sorry do you want to do a new installation in the subdomain or transfer your website into subdomain?

I really made a new install, but I guess it was not necessary. If I did a new install, should I erase it before moving the original? For your answer in other post of mine, I guess I just have to move all files and folders from the original domain to the sub-domain folder (original Oxwall install is in http://redsalud.info/ and will move to http://social.redsalud.info/ ). I understand that I also have to edit the /ow_includes/config.php file.

Thanks!

Yes, you need to delete previous installation if you want your original website to move in this folder and change the name of URI in config.php file.
