Hi Guys,

I have a question.....Does oxwall plugins if not all use the website cache ?
Reason im asking is im having issues with my Hosting company because i am limited to a certain numbe rof inodes on my shared server.

Once i reached the allowed inodes my sites starts getting slow or i get errors.
So instead of me having to asking my host to always clear my cache i want to use this cronjob for example :

rm -rf /home/myvirgo3/public_html/ow_userfiles/plugins/movies/cache.storage.www.myvirgo.info/*

And set it to clear every 24 hours to save inodes or rather not use a lot of inodes in my account, so what i want to know is will this affect the usability of the plugins ?

Couple of things,  first if your plugins cache is causing you to go over your inodes then you have other issues. What will you do when your site grows because cache is really not that much which means that your very close to your inode limit now.

IMO Oxwall (or any social script) is not designed to run on a limited inode structure only because you need some flexibility for the script to run and do what it needs to do.  And also to allow for growth.   Running any social script on a limited inode structure is much like expecting to raise rabbits in your bathroom (we all know how fast rabbits multiply).

I cannot speak for your cron command files but i will say that IMO you really should be looking for a new host rather than trying to manipulate your script to fall within limits of a host which limits inodes in the first place.

Limiting inodes is a way for hosting companies to tackle the old "unlimited" issue and to be able to add some limits.   I don't agree with it personally, i think it is pathetic when they do that.

Webster I believe the inode issue is related to the mobile version. Do you use one?

Well, in that case you can contact your hosting provider and request server statistics to find out what exactly is causing this, which part of the software
