Is there a plugin or is there some way I can create categories for the entire site? Maybe I've simply missed it.
My members can be easily classified and it would be great if a user could select a category and see certain members only. The categories listing in the Oxwall Store is perfect for this.

I believe there's no such plugin and to arrange this is considered as a custom code modification.

@Erik, I haven't done anything with it but if you need a simple (one tier) fix, you may consider creating a Category field as a single choice dropdown and ake sure it's a search option.
