I'm not sure where I read it, but the Oxwall moderators state that they DO NOT delete posts unless they are duplicated. Then they will point you to the original post.
Oxwall's forum is functional but basic. It's isn't as fancy as a dedicated forum and it has its weaknesses.
One weakness is that the person who started a thread can edit or delete it at any time. On specialist forums you can only edit for an hour or so, or until the first person has read your post. They also stop you from deleting a thread if someone has replied.
No so Oxwall as far as I'm aware. I could start a thread, receive hundreds of valuable answers, but still delete it if I felt so inclined. I'd like to see that changed, but there's a few things I'd like to see changed first.
