When I go over 10 seconds all of a sudden it goes really fast.
Is there a way around this? Can it be set for higher than 10 seconds?

Did you mention the "Slideshow time per a photo" field in general settings of this plugin?
It's time for slideshow of loading next photo. You can see that by click on "Slideshow" button in left bottom of lightbox viewer.

I know this, The issue is when editing it past 10 seconds it speeds up like you set it to 2-3 seconds. Can it be set higher than 10 seconds?
So if you set 10 second slide show to 20 seconds it goes much faster almost like 2-3 seconds instead of 20 seconds.

Yup, it will be 3 seconds if you set it higher than 10s.
Please send me ftp info by private message, we will remove that for you.
