It's one of the quietest forums I've ever been associated with, which makes me think many of the downloaders are like me and can't get their sites running on a normal server.

Fortunately I'm doing most of my prep on a shared server that was able to install Oxwall, but I can't install it on another server and WAMP.

How many people are like me, but just give up when they receive their first 500 error? Most never visit forums and simply move on.

Hey guys, a lot of people have servers before they try Oxwall. A server should be a server, but now I'm discovering that some providers including WAMP do all sorts of nasty things to ensure some "complex" scripts can't be installed.

I used the personal server recommended by Oxwall because that has Softaculous on it. Unfortunaely the package is just under 1 gig, which is ridiculous for one script.

My server at Lunar Pages has
Softaculous on it, but VPS (or similar) is about four times the price of other providers.

In the meantime, I have to wait a year for my contract(s) to run out!
