Im getting this message when I run the firefox error console : NEWSFEED_FEED IS NOT DEFINED window.ow_newsfeed_feed_list["feed1"] = new NEWSFEED_Feed("feed1", {"data":{"feedType":"user","feedId":1,"feedAutoId":"feed1","startTime":1314761267,"customizeMode":false,"viewMore":true,"displayCount":10},"driver":{"class":"NEWSFEED_CLASS_UserDriver","params":{"offset":0,"length":"7","displayCount":10,"feedType":"user","feedId":1,"feedAutoId":"feed1","startTime":1314761267,"customizeMode":false,"viewMore":true}}}); I used "Softaculos" for the upload. My Newsfeed , vedeo feed, the wall, like, etc it's not functioning. When I enter post message, I have no send or post button to press. Video functin is also deffective. What platform version do you have installed? You can check it in ow_version.xml file in site root folder.

Since the download was done through Softaculous I don't have an update option. I tried to do it manually but I think I screwed up on the plcement of the update. I placed it under public_html/ow_plugins
I can't find the updated info on my admin panel.

ok, I just moved the update under the core folder (html_public/ ) , I think this is the right folder. When I do the check ( homepage.com/ow_updates) message says "Your version is up to date" ...... sorry to say that all the functions (I.E Newsfeed, video, the wall, like,....etc are still not working)

First, you need to download "Update pack" from here http://www.oxwall.org/...5b314733313205f9d948
Then, follow manual update manual here http://docs.oxwall.org/install:update

Thanks for the info.
I am beyond this step, I got the update installed and verified. However, Newsfeed still not running properly. Can't use the functions such as "post" "add" "like" "comments" etc....
Let me know what should I do next?

Problem solved !
I uninstalled the Newsfeed and re installed it. Works perfectly. The video feed unfortunately did not work the same way. I still can't view uploaded videos.
I'll try to figur it out why not.
