How to External Cron | Forum

Hi, I have this situation. I'm on shared hosting (where the website with oxwall is the account domain) and now only i realize my service provider disable cron job on the server. Btw I have a VPS so I wanted to use the cron job to be run in this server.

The problem I got was, your cron is based on directory cron and using normal browser I am not able to access the run.php. I edited the .htaccess and added this line

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/ow_cron/run.php

but still not functioning. Maybe anyone can help me how can I set up the external cron.
