It would just help users to see the question and answer and just leave the best answer as the darker background. Unless it's a light theme than they can figure out their own colour layout.

I feel it is to busy without a solid background like when leaving comments elsewhere on the oxwall site.

Another suggestion:
one should be able to sort the answers:
1. best first down to worst answers
2. worst first down to best
3. historical order (as it is now by default)
