I just tested on my website, it works fine. Do you get some kind of an error or message? Please check the firebug console while trying to login in with FB connect for some errors or messages.

Was FB connect working with https before that started?

Because there's  a javascript error in the console and seems like the problem is with https. Your certificate is not verified. Can you please make sure that you indicated https in the FB app settings. 

Yes. Facebook worked from the start then sometimes you just cannot click it. I believe its the age thing. I change the user question back to 1992 and it works but not for everyone.

Yes it is verified (bottom left of website shows the certificate is verified). I just signed up using an old Facebook account too. I know it works, my point is it doesn't work if you were born after 1992. Please go and try and sign up using Facebook and you will see it works but I do not want to restrict users to being over 22.

I have deleted the app and started again following all the steps. I've changed the Birth date to 1996 and logged in and it has worked. Not sure what I missed but it was definitely secure.

This issue has nothing to do with the age range. You can see that by going to your site as http you'll see that FB connect is working which means that there's something wrong with the settings of your FB app. Because we tested on 3 different websites by changing age range and it works. 

The error comes up before the script can even check any data at all. 

Where is the error? I have asked people to join today and they have using Facebook. The certificate is secure and verified. I cannot understand what the error actually is. The error only occurred for me when I changed the age range.

Jason, even when your age range set to 1996 still FB connect does not work with https. As i said it has nothing to do with age it is ssl certificate problem

12 people have now signed up using Facebook in the past hour so it seems to be working.

It still does not work on our end with https. As soon as we use http, FB connect works

So do you have any suggestions to fix?

We do not provide instructions on how to configure plugin for SSL, you need to contact the company where you obtain it to assist you with that. 

I fully appreciate that but I am not so savvy on this kind of thing so can you explain what you feel is the actual issue so I can explain to my server people as they installed the SSL.

Jason do you have https as a URI in your config.php file. Because those people click somewhere on the link of your website and when they go to your URL it is http and not https, which is why those 12 people were able to register. 

And the problem is that your website which is https, it blocks the file all.js from this website http://connect.facebook.net and FB object is defined there.
