Photos, what processing is done between upload and viewing full size? | Forum

Hi everyone

I've just started experimenting with Oxwall and it looks good. I'm looking to host the full size originals of users photos for a small community.

I've changed the max dimensions to 4096 but still when I upload a photo then compare the checksums of the original and the Oxwall "view full size" version, the checksums don't match. But the dimensions appear to be unchanged which is good.

Just wondering what processing is done on the images when they are uploaded as I really want to preserve the originals that the user uploads.

Cheers, B

Hello
Uploaded photo is processed by script in any way. This process includes checks for image's dimensions and resizing if nessecary
