Hello all. I am looking to use Oxwall on a new project I am thinking of starting. But could anyone tell me if I can use Oxwall for games?

Like so people can play Flash or HTML5 games. Is it possible have this feature?

I see there is the video section so could I have a section for games and would it be easy to add them?

Thanks!

Thanks. Mochi games have shut down since then. Bit worried it wont work now if I buy it.

I just want to be able to add/embed flash/unity/html5 games the same way you can videos. I added a new page but it's not got the same features as the video page to let people choose between types and add/upload. Does it let you do that?

Thanks!

You'll need to create a plugin to do this, but yes, it can be done.

Hmmm. How do you mean? How to do that?

Thanks.

You will need to integrate them into the software as a plugin. You can hire a developer or do that by yourself if you're good at PHP, HTML/CSS and Javascript

Thanks ross. But I just spent $20 on this plugin and now you tell me I got to either hire a developer or learn php, html, css and js.

All that could end up quite costly for such a trivial thing.

I'm not that good with php and all that to be honest.

Have sent a PM to the plugin dev.

Noboby told you to rush and buy the plugin, plugin developer is responsive for the work of the current functional, he/she will definitely charge you for any modification you're willing to do with his/her plugin.

the plugin lets you upload custom swf  games and games can be any format you want just upload to the user files games and in add game in plugin iframe it in or how ever you want in the Embed Code area

Thanks Tammy, yeah can add any game using embed or iframe code. But I thought it would let members be able to upload games as well. Currently only the Admin can do it through the Add Game page in Admin Area.

I really need to let a certain user group be able to add their own games.

Members can add their own videos, links, anything else. But not games.

Have sent a request to the plugin dev to see if he can add it in.

Here my site http://arcadegamers.club/

Ok sure. I also submitted a user review as well. Hope it can get published!

I'm all for being patient but slow customer support is actually one of my pet peeves. I believe nobody should do business if it takes longer than 24 hours to reply to a customer.

I guess I can be patient though as just started using oxwall and still finding my way around.

How many plugins does a site need to be successful and can one with minimal plugins still be successful?

Thanks!

Still no reply.

How to change the title on the games page?

All it says is "Latest"

In fact the page title is  <title>Latest</title>

Thats not very SEO friendly.

How to change that and how to put a description on the page?

My site http://arcadegamers.club/games

Thanks.
