I like the old look of when you click the photos. How can i get that look back. Looks way better and cleaner. This new looks more animated but i still want the stars on the photo page. I like that.

Niva, are you referring to floatbox that appears when you click on photo or photo list page?
I have compared "View Photo" floatboxes and not much really changed except the position of rates and user info ( latest version of Photo plugin on the right).
In any case, following file is responsible for the look and feel of the "View photo" floatbox: ow_plugins/photo/views/components/photo_floatbox.html .

My biggest issue is there's no share buttons on video and photo section. The new 1.7 photo view is ok I guess.

We are working on redesigning Social Share plugin. So in one of the upcoming builds you will have sharing buttons on photo view page.

ok but what about video page also. Both need social share buttons. What is the time frame because this is very important. These are key features that should have been here when 1.7 was launched not after. Its like giving me a car but no door.

The share buttons will be added to the Photo View in the upcoming update. Please be patient and wait for the upcoming update.
