Hi,

here some ideas for the group plugin:

1. the ADMIN should have the possibility to take ownership of a group!

2. A group owner (who wants to leave the site or delete his profile) should be able to send an invitation to another member with the request to take over the group. That other member could then accept (and become the new owner) or refuse the request.

3. Who can JOIN?

At the moment one can only decide "Who can view" and "Who can invite", but there should be the third option "Who can join". That would allow that members SEE the group but can only join upon invitation, or it could be defined that only certain user roles can join the group etc.

4. at the moment, private groups are hidden even to the eyes of members! They can see the group only when clicking on "My Groups". But private groups should be shown also in the widget and on someones profile if it is a MEMBER of that private group that opens the profile or is connected and sees th widget. That would help avoid confusions (for example the widget says: "no group available" while one is member of a group...)

To make it short: private groups should be hidden ONLY to non-members!

That would probably be very helpful for many Oxwall admins...
