In a way this is related to other posts I've made in this forum.
Basically I will have a site where members will sign-up but they can only be "Friends" with the admin. They can only see the "Feed" that the admin writes in. For this reason they don't need a Friends tab or a sent tab. Only the Received requests so they can accept the Admin. This is only needed because I cannot automatically make new members friends with the admin.

Got it. What the reason you want to make all new members automatically friends with admin?

Period being friends with admin is good anyways whether you want to eradicate every other friend feature or not, Myspace & Tom spring to mind. Plus it would bring to the users attention the "friend" system.
