Tammy, why would you contact this plugin developer and ask them to fix the bugs?

I am a little disapointed as well that oxwall has not decided to make this apart of the core product.

Don't get me wrong I think Puros is a great developer and pretty good with his support but as I have allready experienced when a developer decides to delete his account all the support, plugins and any trace of them dissapears as well.

This is one of the most important features for a community website and if Purus decides to retire from oxwall what will the commuity do then.

I sincearly hope Oxwall decides to re-asses if they want to work on this feature as the community in general have spoken with their votes on oxwall uservoice.

Shaun, no one says that we are not going to implement it. But, in this moment the video uploader plugin has already been developed by the third-party developer, and we believe that this should be mentioned on the suggestion page. I think you were confused by the 'completed' status - I will forward this to our suggest board moderators.

Thank you for the clearing that up Daisy. You are right I did think that oxwall had decided not to pursue development of native video uploading.

We have hope again. :-)

Quote from Daisy Tammy, why would you contact this plugin developer and ask them to fix the bugs?
i have treed for 12 months now asking the developer to fix it the problem is some one payed him privately to fix it and in the contract he can not fix the video upload plugin

problems

it uses ffmpeg to get image from video but can not use to encode video because of contract

can not upload 2 videos at same time as it breaks both videos because he can not fix the upload because of the contract

it has no conversion cue he can not fix because of contract

it does not play on any tablet or mobile device because of contract

he can not fix the play video page and add embed code or down load this video because of contract

he can not fix the convert to get image processing the user has to stay on the page and wait for the video to rub through ffmpg big videos take hours  and when a users gets shits on waiting and leaves the page it breaks the video and does not remove the video from the server so you server gets full of useless video taking up space for nothing
he cant fix because of contract
